“As an organisation that supports the needs of veteran of all ages experiencing sight loss and diverse health needs, it was really important to work with a tour company that was able to understand our complex needs. Time Travel Education were able to both plan and deliver an exceptional programme that allowed flexibility to accommodate our members needs.”
Mrs Pierce, Rehabilitation Manager, Llandudno
“From start to finish my experience with Time Travel Education has been fantastic. (My Tour Coordinator) has always been easy to reach and to talk to about all issues, big or small.
Whilst on the trip the company did not disappoint with their excellent itinerary which was perfectly timed and was well managed.”
Mrs Smith, Teacher of History, Walsall
“I, as trip leader, felt well supported throughout the entire process. The company not only met my high expectations but exceeded them. I am very happy and impressed by the whole experience.”
Mrs Smith, Teacher of History, Walsall
'Our Chairman and Members would like to give you our overwhelming thanks for such a fantastic and amazing battlefield tour.''
Mr Mullin, Royal Signals Association, Liverpool
“The highlight for me was the effort which Time Travel Education went into to research some of our pupils and staff’s relatives who died or served in WW1. When one of our students went to their relatives grave it made me so emotional as the student was overwhelmed by the information and cross that she was given to place at her relative’s grave. What I thought was even more moving was that she was given a picture of him to display at his grave.
Having moments like these are exactly why I chose this tour group, and exactly why I will choose them again and tell others about them. It’s the attention to detail which made this trip such a success and the hard work of TTE”
Head of English
"In 30 years, the best tour organiser I have ever dealt with."
“The company’s enthusiasm, knowledge and care for the subject matter was second to none and the way they acknowledged our World War 2 veterans stories and incorporated this in to the programme was amazing. We look forward to working with Time Travel Education again soon.”
Mrs Pierce, Rehabilitation Manager, Llandudno
''A 10/10 service from start to finish. Our guide, Brian, had excellent knowledge of the subject and really offered a fantastic insight. A big thank you to all involved."
Mr Morgan
“The Workshops were fantastic. Richie was really good, all our students and the students from visiting schools absolutely loved it.
We had such a good day. We will definitely recommend you to other schools and we will definitely use you again if we do something like this in the future.”
Mrs King, Head of Support Services, West Yorkshire
''The branch members who took part in the tour wish to pass on their thanks for the way in which you looked after our blind member throughout the tour... thank you so much for making him feel part of it.''
Mr Stowers, Royal Signals Association, Liverpool
"It was an exciting hands-on experience that the pupils learnt a lot from. They particularly loved the artefacts and loved being able to touch ‘something real’."
Miss Fallows, Head of English, Blackburn
‘’Time travel Education brought WW1 to life for the children. They were particularly excited by the use of modern virtual reality equipment and the chance to dress and act as WW1 soldiers with the use of the range of artefacts. Would highly recommend them to others.’’
Mr Daniels, Year 5 Teacher, Nottingham
"The support was fantastic as I was often emailing for information and support"
“We had a fantastic day, the children were really engaged with the whole session and enjoyed having the hands-on experience!
The session was really well run and clearly structured with every child learning something new.
Thank you so much for providing us with such an interesting and exciting workshop.”
Miss Clowes, Year 6 Teacher, Wolverhampton
“Time Travel Education provided our whole school with an invaluable insight into life in the trenches during World War One. As part of our celebration to mark the centenary of the end of the war, they helped the children to appreciate the significance in an enjoyable way. The day was introduced with an assembly that was pitched well to entertain and educate the whole school from Year 1-6. "
Mrs Hawting, Year 5 Teacher, London
"The individual workshops that each class participated in allowed the children to explore, in a limited space of time, the theme of life in the trenches in greater detail and at their own level, which really brought it to life for them. The whole day was run in an extremely professional manner and has resulted in some excellent cross curricular follow up work.”
Mrs Hawting, Year 5 Teacher, London
“From the very beginning of the planning of this trip, our experience with Time Travel Education has been second to none. TTE came into school for the initial planning meeting where he made sure that the tour they were going to plan for us met the needs of the school and our pupils.”
Miss Southern, Head of Humanities, Bolton
“TTE were also very flexible with making changes closer to the time when our numbers changed. Prior to the trip, the guides had done research into the location of the relatives of some of our pupils who were buried/named on the memorials we visited. They planned for us to visit these graves and made the effort to find the names on the memorials which was massively appreciated by the pupils for whom the tour was made personal.”
Miss Southern, Head of Humanities, Bolton
“I would not hesitate to use Time Travel Education again, their personal, professional and friendly approach is all you could ask for as a teacher with the massive responsibility of taking pupils abroad. They made it as stress free as it could be!
I cannot express how impressed we were with the guides on this tour. They had an obvious love and passion for their jobs
A massive THANK YOU to the whole team for a truly fantastic experience, from all of us”
Miss Southern, Head of Humanities, Bolton
"The trip tied in very closely with the curriculum"
“Overall, our experience was fantastic and we would love to use you again. We are already considering a trip next year. Our year 10 and 9 students who have already been have already said they want to do again! The pre-tour support was brilliant and the tour itself went like clockwork.”

“Time Travel Education was excellent in setting everything up and organising the trip. They also delivered a speech to parents in advance of the trip to relay the key points of the trip which was a great help.”
Mr Branagan, History Teacher, London
“Our experience with TTE has been a positive one from the outset. They saw my 'vision' and tried to make it a reality, giving advice based on their experience directing previous trips. I have felt involved from the beginning with continuous updates leading up to our trip.
TTE were flexible to our organisation's requirements, in particular safeguarding within accommodations etc and conducting an event recce before the main trip. TTE were always conscious to make our trip as cost effective as possible, giving us advice on the best use of our funds.”
Miss Henwood, Cadet Instructor, London
“School trips are difficult and take a lot of organisation; time is precious and limited in our profession, but I can honestly say that going with Time Travel Education was a life saver.
Brilliantly efficient in the planning of our bespoke itinerary, no request was too much and myself, my colleagues and our students would not hesitate to recommend this tour company (and use them again in the future)!”
Mr Shannon, History Teacher, Blackburn
Miss Johnson, Year 5 teacher, Burnley
“The guide was fantastic. He had the children engaged throughout the day during the different topics we covered. He was not afraid to answer any questions asked and was very knowledgeable. He was in character all day and the children truly believe that they have been visited by a World War One Sergeant.
The children enjoyed handling the artefacts and learning more about World War One in a hands-on way.”
“This was our organisations first overseas battlefield tour in almost a decade, they reduced the administration burden of our adult volunteers greatly - enabling us to focus on the main authorisation paperwork. TTE wanted to be involved in all aspects and offered reps too attend our parent/guardian evenings along with fundraising for our trip.
I would highly recommend using TTE, we will definitely be working with them again!”
Miss Southern, Head of Humanities, Bolton
"The guide was very approachable at I felt that I could ask him for anything and he would do his hardest to sort it out"
“This trip has been made so easy with Time Travel Education. They have been excellent with the organisation of the trip and left me with very little to do - the trip ran very smoothly and like clockwork.
I would 100% recommend using TTE again and will be doing so in the future.”

“With a very short time frame to arrange certain parts of the trip you put in a great effort to make sure we did everything we had originally planned. On the day, the drivers and guide were great at making sure we followed the itinerary and adapted it where necessary to make sure the children got the best experience possible. Thank you for the hard work. We will be in touch in September.”
