Everything you need to know about our history workshops
Our presentations and history workshops for schools offer a unique hands-on approach which will bring the history to life. Through our various characters, we can offer presentations and object handling sessions that are fun and engaging. This can be over a whole day and covers all age ranges. Presentations are delivered to an audience in the first-person context in authentic uniform/costume with the use of accurate historical working props and scenery.

What teachers say
“Thank you so much for the history workshop you provided today for our Year 5 classes.
The children loved seeing the artefacts you brought.
It was particularly nice that you included a section on local history, drawing their attention to some local heroes and monuments.
The whole day was a lovely opportunity for our children to consolidate what they learnt in our recent history topic, as well as developing this learning with resources and knowledge beyond what we could supply in the classroom.”
‘’I am just emailing to say thank you very much for today's sessions. The pupils really enjoyed the presentation and were talking about it for the rest of the day.’’
